The Right to Data Protection has become one of the most important branches of law in modern society, as any professional activity is capable of processing of personal data and the use of technological tools. So the management and processing of personal data has become very important since the entry into force of Law 15/1999, of December 13, Protection of Personal Data and the regulations that develop, creating a need adequacy of the procedures to new contingencies required in the Act
The Organic Law of Protection of Information (Act) applies to personal data recorded in any medium through which they can be treated, and applies to both the public and the private sector.
The Data Protection Act was created to guarantee and protect civil liberties and fundamental rights of individuals, especially their honor and personal and family privacy, and establishes a series of obligations for companies, independent professionals and government who hold files containing personal data.
